Travels without John

I feel fortunate and honored to have been recently given a large commission for work by the Baton Rouge Area Foundation. Of course, I can’t put up too many images until they decide which they want to use, but I think posting this one won’t get me in too much hot water. In spite of the heat, early mornings and long hours in the car, I am excited to see where this project goes (and the chartered helicopter ride I’m planning). Working for BRAF is always exhilarating because they have such a clear civic purpose in mind for all their projects and allow a great deal of creative latitude.

I also happen to respect BRAF’s Executive Director, John Davies, a great deal and feel privileged to call him my friend. More details about this project will emerge as time progresses and the body of work builds, but suffice it to say, I am enthusiastic about the mission and results that will come from my current task. More photos to be posted as they become available and I’ll link to the finished work once the project wraps. You might also be able to pick up a nice bound copy of the final result once it is all assembled.

Thanks for the confidence in my work, John. I won’t let the organization down… or I’ll try hard not to!
